Born in 1965 in Grenoble, he lives and works in Paris.
David Renaud deliberately plays with codes, mixing scientific rigour and freedom.
He works on an exploration of space that allows him to develop both physical and mental experiments.
He confronts human perception with organic elements (the cell), geographical elements (maps and relief plans) or cosmic elements (stellar panoramas and futuristic architectures). His works disrupt scales, transform distances and disrupt chronologies.
